When you're the leader of the free world, it's not easy to squeeze in bonding time with your spouse. Still, President Barack Obama makes it a point to do just that during daily workouts with his wife of twenty years, Michelle.
In an interview with Good Housekeeping, the First Lady, 48, reveals that she and Barack, 51, "work out together every day."
"I usually get to the gym a little before he does, because I start my day a bit earlier," the Chicago native explains. "[I have] hair, makeup, things that he doesn't have to do. I continue to remind him of that."
POTUS usually arrives "when I'm halfway through." Then, "we spend the morning checking in, watching SportsCenter [together]," Michelle says.
When the weekend rolls around, the parents to Sasha, 11, and Malia, 14, will sometimes "catch a movie together" or "have a quiet dinner."
"He helps me keep focused when I'm feeling off-center," Michelle shares. "A good chat with him on the balcony -- it always puts me in the right place."
