Where will Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie be December 1? Whether toy-shopping in the south of France, shooting in L.A. or helping the needy in the Third World, the parents of six might want to avoid bookstores -- where readers will be snatching up the first day's copies of "Brangelina Exposed."
Written by Ian Halperin -- an investigative journalist and author of July's No. 1 bestseller "Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson" -- "Brangelina Exposed" promises to explain how the famous couple "have successfully manipulated the public into believing a glamorous fairytale that bears little resemblance to the reality of the pair's life together," according to a press release.
First on Halperin's agenda: parsing through Pitt's marriage to Jennifer Aniston and the "real reason" for their infamous split.
The heavily-sourced writer then hones in on Jolie's dark past, reporting "new details of her volatile relationship with and estrangement from her father Jon Voight, her struggles with suicidal impulses, her heroin use, her sexual exploits and her remarkable rise to become an Oscar-winning actress."
Halperin will also introduce "the key figure behind the scenes who orchestrated her makeover into a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador."
But all is not well in the Jolie-Pitt household, the books claims.
"Jolie's personal lifestyle choices are not only affecting her growing family," the release says, "but causing serious and potentially irreparable tensions with Pitt."
