After losing the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress to her co-star Octavia Spencer, Jessica Chastain was beside herself on Monday when she got news that she'll have a second chance to shine.
Documenting the star's emotional moment, Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani snapped this pic of the The Help actress, who was sitting front row (next to Cameron Diaz) at Paris Fashion Week when she caught wind that she was up for Best Supporting Actress for the 2012 Academy Awards.
"Jessica Chastain receives the call on her nomination at the Oscars during the #Armani Prive fashion show," Sozzani tweeted along with the pic above.
And although the 30-year-old actress starred in five films this year in addition to The Help (Tree of Life, The Debt, Coriolanus, Take Shelter and The Fields), the 1960s civil rights moment flick was her hardest role to come by.
"I had to be soft and curvy, so I ate a lot of soy," Chastain told E! News in August about having to gain weight for her character Celia Foote. "Soy helps you become curvy because it has estrogen in it. So what I would do -- and this is really gross -- is buy cartons of soy ice cream, microwave it and drink it. It was disgusting, [but] wait [until] you see my boobs in the movie."
