From White Castle to the White House?
In a new Obama for America campaign video, President Barack Obama enlists the help of notorious, snack-happy slackers Harold and Kumar (played by John Cho and Kal Penn) just before the Democratic National Convention kicks off in Charlotte, North Carolina.
"Dude, who was that? It sounded intense," Cho, 40, asks Penn as he hangs up his phone.
"The President," Penn, 35 -- who has served as an Associate Director of Public Engagement under Obama -- replies nonchalantly.
Click to watch the promo, and tune in Thursday, Sept. 6 at 8 pm to "Live From Charlotte," online-only coverage of the DNC, hosted by Kal Penn and featuring special appearances by celeb campaign supporters (including Marc Anthony, Elizabeth Banks, Olivia Wilde, Zach Braff and more!)
