Shia LaBeouf has been arrested … again!
A witness reportedly told TMZ that Shia ran down the street and jaywalked in front of police while acting either extremely drunk or high on drugs on downtown Austin's 6th Street, an area known for its bar scene. He continued to act bizarrely in front of the cops in spite of their attempts to calm him, the witness adds.
Eventually, the officers were able to subdue Shia, who is pictured being handcuffed and then helped into the backseat of a cop car in video obtained by TMZ.
He was reportedly taken to the Travis County Jail and booked for misdemeanor public intoxication.
Another witness alleged to TMZ that shortly before the arrest, Shia caused a scene at a nearby bar after he and a female companion were denied entrance because they were too intoxicated. The hotheaded actor reportedly started cursing and tried to force his way into the bar but ultimately walked away after he was blocked at the entrance.
In September 2014, he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and agreed to stay in alcohol treatment for at least three months and out of trouble for six so that he would be allowed to withdraw the guilty plea, which would result in the case ultimately being dismissed.
Shia reportedly sought rehabilitation at the Hills Treatment Center in Los Angeles, but now that his six months of staying out of trouble are up, he's apparently back to his old ways.
