WENN -- Soul legend Stevie Wonder has filed divorce papers to end his 11-year marriage.
The soul icon, whose real name is Stevland Morris, claims he has been separated from his second wife, Kai Millard Morris, since October 2009 and cites irreconcilable differences for the split, according to the Associated Press.
Wonder, 62, is asking for joint custody of the couple's two sons, Kailand, 10, and Mandla, 7. He has agreed to pay Morris spousal and child support, according to TMZ.
The blind singer wed fashion designer Morris in 2001. He was previously married to singer Syreeta Wright.
