Forget gold -- Olympian Tim Morehouse is all about platinum now!
The Olympic fencer married Rachael Kun in a stunning ceremony in Key West, Fla. on Saturday, Dec. 15.
Morehouse, 34, said "I do" to the 60 Minutes Associate Producer on the beach at Waldorf Astoria Casa Marina hotel. The beautiful bride wore in a strapless Monique Lhuillier gown, and the groom looked handsome in Hugo Boss.
The couple had both a rabbi and minister officiate their ceremony, and were saluted by groomsmen down the aisle as husband and wife. The Ralph Lauren Olympian's best man was Jaime Marti, an Olympic fencer from Spain, and Jason Rogers, his 2008 Olympic teammate, served as a groomsman.
"With the Olympics I went for the gold but got the silver, but with love I went for the gold and got the Platinum!" Morehouse, who won silver in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing and competed in the 2012 Olympics in London, tells Us Weekly. "I feel so lucky to have such beautiful, smart and caring woman to share my life with now. I couldn't be happier!"
And his bride agrees. "I've always dreamed of a beach wedding and used to travel to Key West with my family, so this was the most special location we could have imagined," she tells Us. "I'm so happy how everything turned out. There was a light breeze, not a cloud in the sky -- and to have my mom, dad and sister here to support me was all I could ask for. It truly was the best day of my life."
The newlyweds are honeymooning at the same resort this week in a suite overlooking the ocean. They plan on enjoying a week of jet skiing, snorkeling, trips to the spa and pina coladas by the pool.
