Singers Usher and Alicia Keys were awarded top honors during Sunday's broadcast of the 2010 Soul Train Awards.

Keys, whose album The Element of Freedom is in stores now, won the Best female R&B/soul artist statuette, while Usher tied with crooner Trey Songz in the Best male R&B/soul artist category.

Trey released his fourth studio album Passion, Pain & Pleasure in September, and Usher is currently on tour.
