Following his move to California, King Charles III requested that
Prince Harry and
Meghan Markle vacate their royal estate.
Omid Scobie, who is often seen as favoring the Sussexes over the royal family, claimed the move upset the duke.
"Don't you want to see your grandchildren?" Harry asked Charles, according to Scobie's book
Endgame.

Scobie later claimed King Charles III gave
Prince Harry a "half-hearted declaration that they would always have 'somewhere' to stay."

Not only did
Prince Harry lose Frogmore Cottage, but he was also stripped of his security privileges. The Duke of Sussex's fight for personnel became a source of tension between him and King Charles III.
"For the time being, it's impossible for me to take my family back to the U.K. safely," Harry told the
BBC.

"I can't see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the U.K. at this point. … I love my country,"
Prince Harry continued. "I always have, despite what some people in that country have done. I miss the U.K., and it's really quite sad I won't be able to show my children my homeland."

Prince Harry hasn't brought
Prince Archie and
Princess Lilibet to the U.K. due to his safety concerns, but things could change later this year.
People reported that the duke's security rights will be reinstated when he's in the U.K., which could help him visit his home country with his kids.
"It's now a formality. Sources at the Home Office have indicated that security is nailed on for Harry," a source told
DailyMail.com.
