According to royal expert
Rebecca English, the "tripod" of Sarah Ferguson, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie is not as sturdy as it once was due to the former Duchess of York's unearthed email to Jeffrey Epstein. "The tripod has collapsed," English
wrote for
DailyMail.com. "Obviously, [Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie] will continue to support their parents, but they feel so let down."

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly feeling highly empathetic toward their dad, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, over his banishment from the royal family due to his own connection to Jeffrey Epstein. "I would actually go so far as to say that they are even more disappointed in Sarah Ferguson than their father now," Rebecca English claimed. "They are genuinely fearful for their father and have grave concerns about what he will do for the rest of his life."

Despite Sarah Ferguson being just as affected by the scandal as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are showing where their loyalty lies. "They also love their mother dearly, of course, they do," Rebecca English said. "She's a wonderful grandmother, too and they are deeply concerned about how this is all affecting her mentally as much as their father. But I think it's fair to say the scales have also somewhat fallen from their eyes."

After the 2011 email from Sarah Ferguson to Jeffrey Epstein went public, numerous charities dropped the mother of two. Sarah and Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, who divorced in 1996, were also stripped of their titles and forced to leave their home of about two decades, Royal Lodge.

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor not only had his title ripped away but was also removed from his position as Knight of the Order of the Garter and Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order. Queen Elizabeth II previously removed his military and charity patronages in 2022.
