"My Boys" will belly back up to the bar in the spring.

TBS has set a March 31 premiere date for the third season of its comedy, which stars Jordana Spiro as a Chicago sportswriter. Like the show's previous season, it will run for nine episodes.

When the series left off last fall, Bobby (Kyle Howard) approached P.J. (Spiro) on the eve of his wedding to someone else and was about to confess his feelings for her -- when his brother Jack (Billy Burke) emerged from her room. The season premiere will presumably deal with the fallout from that scene.

Regular cast members Reid Scott, Jim Gaffigan, Kellee Stewart, Jamie Kaler and Michael Bunin will all be back as well.

"My Boys" averaged about 1.5 million viewers per week in first-run airings last season, a bit of an improvement over its first seasons. It also pulled in solid numbers among its target audience of adults 18-34.
