Better with bangs? Amy Poehler debuted a new hairstyle at the Writers Guild Awards at the JW Marriott in L.A. on Sunday, Feb. 17.

The Parks and Recreation actress, 41, switched up her usual shoulder-length blonde 'do by adding bangs. Rather than going for thick, blunt bangs, the mother of two played it safe by styling thin, subtle strands.

Wearing a long-sleeved little black dress, Poehler showed off her new look while presenting the awards for Comedy Variety Specials and Comedy Variety Series with Parks and Recreation costar Adam Scott. Their NBC comedy earned a nomination for Comedy Series, but lost to FX's Louie.
