Tony Scott's loved ones have said their final goodbyes.
The British director, who jumped to his death from a Los Angeles bridge August 19 at the age of 68, was laid to rest during a private funeral Friday according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Scott's motives for ending his life remain, at this point in time, a mystery; CNN reports that while the Top Gun filmmaker left two separate notes, neither of them addressed why he chose to commit suicide.
His family has denied claims that Scott decided to take his life after learning he had an inoperable brain tumor.
Earlier this week, the Los Angeles County coroner's office said that it will be weeks before the results from Scott's autopsy are available.
