Poor Stacy Keibler. There she is, minding her own business, basking in domestic bliss while incubating a tiny human being, and suddenly she's tossed into the middle of George Clooney's engagement hoopla. It seems Us Weekly believes the leggy TV personality is "irked" that her once commitment-avoiding ex-boyfriend popped the question to British human rights attorney Amal Alamuddin.
"When George and Stacy got together, he told her she would be the one he'd marry -- and that they could have kids," a source alleges to the tab.
But insiders insist that Keibler, 34, who split with Clooney, 53, in the summer of 2013 after a two-year romance, is quite content with entrepreneur Jared Pobre. You'll recall that the two quietly married in March and are reportedly expecting a girl later this year.
"Stacy is focused on her life with Jared and enjoying her pregnancy," an insider tells E! News. "She wishes nothing but happiness for anyone she's dated, including George."
Adds a confidant to Gossip Cop, "Stacy is so happy with the way things worked out. She has found her perfect match and is excited to start a family. She is so happy that George has done the same and feels strongly that things in life happen for a reason."
