Rosie O'Donnell's 17-year-old daughter, Chelsea, as well as the family dog have gone missing, and police are investigating.
Foul play is not believed to be involved.
According to a post on Rosie's website, Chelsea was last seen on Aug. 11 wearing a black sweatshirt hoodie, dark ripped blue jeans, women's grey converse sneakers and a black backpack. When Chelsea left home, she left with family's 6-month-old therapy dog, Bear.
Rosie is extremely concerned and views this as a serious situation. Chelsea, Rosie's site said, "stopped taking her medicine and is in need of medical attention."
Police have been searching for Chelsea since Aug. 16 in New York's Rockland County area. Aside from her website, the comedian and talk show host has also gone to social media to try to locate her daughter. In a post to Twitter late Aug. 17, she posted an image of Chelsea with the caption, "dude was asking for u today ... dude #urFAMILY #call." She also posted links to the information on her website.
In a statement, Rosie's rep said, "Chelsea, like millions of people, lives with mental illness. It has been a difficult road for Chelsea and her family, and they just want her back safe."
