It's the end of an era for Taylor Swift. The sweetie-pie chart-topper said farewell to her teens on Sunday with a birthday bash for her friends, band and tour crew members at her family's home in Hendersonville, Tenn., reports People magazine.
And because it's not enough that she achieved new heights of stardom this year, thanks in part to Kanye "I'mma Let You Finish" West, the multiple Grammy-nominated singer even baked for the holiday-themed shindig, whipping up butter cookies and gingerbread cookies with cream cheese icing.
"It's more like an end-of-year Christmas party that happens to be on my birthday," she told the mag.

Swift certainly got into the giving spirit of the season: In honor of her milestone, she's made a $250,000 donation that will be shared among several schools she has a personal connection to.
"Something I wanted to do at the end of this amazing year and especially on my birthday was give back to something I really believe in, which is education," she explains. "The schools that I went to and the amazing people I got to learn from really turned me into who I am, and I wanted to give back."

The money will help buy books, fund teachers' salaries and finance educational programs (perhaps one will focus on preventing bullying, a subject Swift knows all too well).
No word on whether her same-named honey, Taylor Lautner, winged to Tennessee following his hosting gig on "Saturday Night Live," during which he acrobatically defended her honor against a Kanye cutout.

Alas, just because Swift is older, it doesn't necessarily mean she's wiser. On Thursday, she admitted to being outsmarted by a window treatment (and thus reinforcing why we like her so darn much).
"At the fancy hotel, I may have broken the fancy curtains because I didn't know they have a fancy electric button you push to close them," Taylor tweeted. "Hm."
The fancy hotel was in New York, where the usually curly-haired crooner showed off a new super-straight 'do (it was for a photo shoot) and hit the stage at Madison Square Garden for Z100's annual Jingle Ball.
