Anthony Michael Hall is apologizing for an expletive-filled tirade that was caught on tape.

According to TMZ, the trouble started while the popular '80s movie star was hanging out at the South Congress Hotel pool in Austin, Texas, on Aug. 12. Witnesses claim he was blaring music loudly from a portable speaker he'd toted along. Guests also said he was being belligerent toward everyone in sight.
Eventually, other hotel guests asked him to cool it. That completely set him off, however, and he began shouting (in very colorful language) at other pool guests and calling them "disrespectful."
TMZ's video of the incident, which picks up in the middle of the tirade, shows Anthony cursing and splashing water in the direction of the person filming, whom he refers to as "Rosie O'Donnell."

Toward the end of the video, you can see one of Anthony's friends urging him to get out of the pool to diffuse the situation.
The former star of "The Breakfast Club" is now taking responsibility for the fracas.
"As a result of a misunderstanding and miscommunication between myself and some hotel guests, the situation needlessly and regrettably escalated," he said. "I am deeply sorry for my words and actions and ask for forgiveness from anyone who I may have offended."
TMZ reports police were not called, but hotel security responded to the incident, which resulted in Anthony leaving the pool area.
