Megan Thee Stallion has added "successful clothing designer" to her resume.
On Nov. 19, the rapper's clothing line with Fashion Nova debuted, and sales were swift… very swift, actually!
In quoting sources connected to the retail company, TMZ said Meg's line raked in $1.2 million in sales within the first 24 hours of release.
Meg had championed the line as being good for all body types, saying on Instagram it was for "all the hotties out there."
The collection, which is heavy on denim, actually sold better than Cardi B's fashion line, which was released in Spring 2019, but that's mainly because there was more product on hand this time around.
Fashion Nova anticipated high demand after Cardi's line sold out so quickly, TMZ said.
The popularity of her clothing line was hardly the only good news for Megan. On Nov. 20, she also released her debut album, aptly titled "Good News." Within hours, it was the top selling album on Apple Music.
"THROUGH SUCH A ROUGH YEAR I FELT LIKE WE COULD ALL USE A LIL GOOD NEWS," she tweeted last week.
