libel suit

Mel B's former nanny opens up about sexual relationship with singer and estranged husband

The nanny caught in the crossfire of Mel B and Stephen Belafonte's divorce is firing back.

Mel had previously claimed in court documents that Stephen impregnated their nanny, Lorraine Gilles, and used Mel's money to get an abortion.

In a 128-page libel lawsuit filed on Aug. 11, Lorraine denies that she was ever pregnant by Stephen and she even says that had a much stronger sexual relationship with Mel than with Stephen.

"My sexual and employment relationship with Melanie continued for approximately seven years until September 2016. During my time with Melanie, she and I had sex sporadically, sometimes having sex multiple times in a week," Lorraine wrote in court docs, which were obtained by The Mirror. "On the other hand I never had any sexual relations with Stephen without Melanie's instruction and without Melanie's actual or apparent consent. At no point did I represent to Melanie that I was pregnant with Stephen's child."

"The only times Stephen and I had sex was when Melanie instructed Stephen and I to do so," she said. "Or when Melanie herself invited her husband to join us in the bedroom, at which point Melanie would often serve as the 'camera man' and record the sexual encounter or take part…"

She added that she felt very uncomfortable having sex on camera and was worried that the tapes would get out into the public. She refuted Mel's claims that she is in possession of the sex tapes.

"I have been actively trying to move past my time and relationship with Melanie. I simply wish that she shows me the same respect I've shown her over the past seven years," she wrote. "However this lawsuit became necessary after she refused to leave me alone and spread a number of lies about me and my relationship to her family on an international scale, all to benefit herself in her divorce proceedings."

She added, "I have… received countless messages, threats and insults from random persons all over the world, shaming and degrading me based on the false image of me created by Melanie."

Lorraine was fired from her job as Mel and Stephen's nanny in September 2016. She was given a $30,000 severance package.

One thing Lorraine did admit in the documents is that she did get pregnant while she was working with the estranged couple, but denied that Stephen was the father of the child.

"Stephen and I never told Melanie I was pregnant with Stephen's child in 2014, as is stated in Melanie's declaration. Rather, I discovered I was pregnant several weeks after I went out for drinks with a friend at The Den in West Hollywood and had a one-night stand with a man I met at the bar," she said in court documents. "I immediately sought guidance from Melanie and spoke to her privately about the pregnancy. I felt comfortable approaching her because of our close relationship.

"At no point did I suggest or imply that I believed Stephen to be the potential father of the child. In fact, I had not had group sex with Stephen for several months prior to my unexpected pregnancy. Instead, Melanie herself assisted me with arranging a medical appointment, advanced the cash for the procedure, and booked a hotel for me to stay in to recover. On several occasions, Melanie actually visited me in the hotel and brought her children to make my recovery more pleasant."

Mel has filed motions to get the court to dismiss Lorraine's claims.

Reflection time

Bo Derek, 63, reflects on being a pin-up icon

Bo Derek can't believe one iconic scene from more than 40 years ago is still so memorable.

"It was one of those moments where a fairy godmother comes in, taps you on the forehead with her magic wand and changes everything," she told Fox News.

Bo dropped jaws when she ran across the beach in a gold swimsuit in 1979's "10." She was immortalized after the movie came out, and posters of her were hung on walls all over the world.

"People say I'm an icon, whatever that means. I wouldn't call myself that," she said while reflecting on that moment in time. "I don't take it personally. But I played a part that certainly became iconic for sure."

Since then, Bo, 63, has procured an impressive résumé in Hollywood.

"I'm grateful for the life I was given," she said. "I feel very good about the decisions I've made. They weren't always the most successful business decisions as far as money in the bank, but I had a blast making films and having my career on my own terms. And that business has been very good to me. And it has opened so many doors for me."

Along the way the actress met John Corbett and they began dating, a romance that blossomed after her first husband, John Derek, passed away of congestive heart failure in 1998 at the age of 71.

"I didn't expect to end up with anyone again," Bo said. "Some women want to pair up again right away. I didn't. I remember consciously fashioning myself after some girlfriends that I have [who] are single and led very full, fantastic lives with friends and family and projects that they do. And that gave them happiness."

Bo and John have now been together for nearly 20 years.

"It was just an attraction, a comfort," she said of meeting the "Sex and the City" star in 2003. "He makes me laugh all the time. He's full of life, full of joy. I became attracted to him and I still am. We take things day by day and I think we are still there."

Despite their two-decade romance, the couple has no plans to marry.

"I think when you're beginning a young family and you're going to have children and set up this new family tree branch, it's obviously a wonderful commitment and it's meaningful," Bo said. "But for us in our lives, it hasn't been yet."

Dating rumors

For much of the month, the rapper has fueled romance rumors with Korean rapper MeLoveMeAlot, who's posted several photos with him on social media.

On Aug. 3, MeLoveMeAlot, who's never publicly disclosed her real name, posted a slideshow of photos with Post, several of which show the duo cuddled up together. In one of the snaps, the "Circles" rapper appeared to be wearing eyeliner.

"I did makeup on cutest face," MeLoveMeAlot wrote alongside the series of photos.

The following day, she shared more images with Post.

Earlier this week, she seemed to confirm the romance rumors, posting even more images with Post, including a drawing of herself and the rapper in anime form. Another photo showed them cuddled up on a couch.

"All I want is him to be happy and i like to be in love," she captioned the slideshow. She also noted that she's "just a girl fall in love with your rockstar."

While MeLoveMeAlot is a rapper, she's also a visual artist and has quite a large following on TikTok and Instagram.

"Growing up, I was super lonely and [art] became a way of entertaining myself," she told VogueWorld in 2018. "Since then, I've always been into creating something, whether it's with computers, paint, pencils, or clay."

Judging from her Instagram, she isn't shy about using her own body as a canvas.

"I thought it was a great way to make as many people as uncomfortable as possible," she told VogueWorld. "I feel nowadays, no one pays much attention to real art, they skim by it in their feeds. But when you scroll by one of my videos, it's difficult to look away."

This would be Post's first public romance since he dated Ashlen Diaz from 2015 to 2018.

Teddi Mellencamp turns off Instagram comments after getting death wishes

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Teddi Mellencamp is hitting back at trolls for leaving hateful and vile comments on her Instagram.

On Aug. 13, the reality TV star noted that she had to disable comments from a previous post after people wished death upon her and her family.

"Hey guys, I just wanted to record a quick message here for a second. So I'm sure some of you've noticed that I had to delete commenting off my last post, and there's something I wanted to say about that," she said in a makeup-free video. "I have always loved doing 'Real Housewives' – the good, the bad and the ugly – because I know it's an escape for so many people watching. I know when I watch 'Potomac,' I am laughing, I am loving it, I am picking my favorites — all of those things that you're supposed to do on these television shows."

She continued, "But what's happening right now is taking it to the next level. I had so many comments on my last post saying they wish I was dead, wishing harmful things on my children, and that's really where like enough is enough. You guys tune in for drama, then enjoy the drama, but coming after people you do not know and wishing they die has gotta stop."

Teddi's comments came after a fiery episode in which the "Housewives" vacationed in Rome and questioned Denise Richards about her alleged affair with Brandi Glanville. Prior to the episode, Teddi had teased on Instagram that it was a "good one."

After the episode aired and she saw her social media account, she was less enthusiastic.

"You don't always have to agree with me. You don't even have to like me but wishing someone would die is taking it to the next level," she wrote on Instagram, essentially echoing what she said in the adjacent video. "Please watch the show. Enjoy it. It's entertainment and our lives can be crazy! Pick your faves and your villains, laugh, cry, relate etc but wishing death on another human is just wrong on so many levels. I hope those that follow me or those that just come on to troll can understand and respect that this needs to stop."

Pool problem

Anthony Michael Hall apologizes for hotel pool tirade

Anthony Michael Hall is apologizing for an expletive-filled tirade that was caught on tape.

Jim Smeal/Shutterstock

According to TMZ, the trouble started while the popular '80s movie star was hanging out at the South Congress Hotel pool in Austin, Texas, on Aug. 12. Witnesses claim he was blaring music loudly from a portable speaker he'd toted along. Guests also said he was being belligerent toward everyone in sight.

Eventually, other hotel guests asked him to cool it. That completely set him off, however, and he began shouting (in very colorful language) at other pool guests and calling them "disrespectful."

TMZ's video of the incident, which picks up in the middle of the tirade, shows Anthony cursing and splashing water in the direction of the person filming, whom he refers to as "Rosie O'Donnell."

Jim Smeal/BEI/Shutterstock

Toward the end of the video, you can see one of Anthony's friends urging him to get out of the pool to diffuse the situation.

The former star of "The Breakfast Club" is now taking responsibility for the fracas.

"As a result of a misunderstanding and miscommunication between myself and some hotel guests, the situation needlessly and regrettably escalated," he said. "I am deeply sorry for my words and actions and ask for forgiveness from anyone who I may have offended."

TMZ reports police were not called, but hotel security responded to the incident, which resulted in Anthony leaving the pool area.

Lawsuit denial

Is Nick Cannon planning a $1.5 billion lawsuit over 'Wild 'N Out' rights?

A smattering of reports this week have claimed that Nick Cannon is planning to file a $1.5 billion lawsuit against ViacomCBS for the rights to "Wild 'N Out," an MTV show he created.

TMZ claims those reports are blatantly false.

Larry Marano/Shutterstock

Nick was fired by ViacomCBS — which owns MTV — on July 14 after he made controversial comments on his podcast that were widely viewed as vile and anti-Semitic. While speaking on his podcast, "Cannon's Class," Nick called white people "savages" and "barbaric." Following the comments, ViacomCBS said Nick had been dropped.

Nick soon lashed out at ViacomCBS and demanded an apology, which he never got.

Now, his team tells TMZ that Nick is focused elsewhere and has no plans to battle the media conglomerate in court over "Wild 'N Out," the long-running improv comedy series.

"Nick is focusing on bringing people together and fighting bigotry, racism and hate," TMZ said, citing Nick's rep, adding "a huge payday is the last thing on his mind."

At the time of his firing, Nick argued that ViacomCBS was trying to "make an example of an outspoken Black man." He maintained that the company was on "the wrong side of history."

He later sent out some cryptic tweets and disturbingly listed his location as "Heaven."

Nick would later issue an apology for his comments, which reportedly saved his job as host of Fox's "The Masked Singer."

Surgery update

Al Roker gives a post-surgery health update

Al Roker is ailing following shoulder surgery, but that's a good thing — everything went exactly according to plan.

On Aug. 12, the lovable weatherman said he couldn't lift his arm, but added the "surgery was a success."

Al told "Today" show viewers earlier in the week that he was undergoing shoulder surgery for arthritis.

"Now comes the hard part of doing all the physical therapy," he said in an Instagram video. "Thanks for all the well wishes and see you in the funny papers."

In the lead-up to the surgery, Al posted several photos and videos from the hospital.

"Well, ready to get my #rightshoulder replaced at @hspecialsurgery with Dr. Riley Williams," he captioned one photo.

"I'm ready to get my shoulder finally fixed as I continue my quest to replace every joint in my body," he said in a video just moments before going under the knife.

He even shared video of his chest getting shaved, which he dubbed "manscaping."

This is hardly Al's first time going under the knife, as he's previously had surgery on his shoulder and rotator cuff. He's also had two knee replacements, hip surgery and emergency carpal tunnel surgery.

"master plan"

Leah Remini thinks Tom Cruise will try to 'lure' Suri into Scientology

Although Tom Cruise hasn't been seen publicly with his 14-year-old daughter, Suri, in years, Leah Remini has a hunch that that's all by design.

Leah, a former Scientologist, believes that the actor will try to "lure" the teen, whom he shares with Katie Holmes, into the religion when she gets older.

"Scientology considers Katie a suppressive person which is an enemy and therefore Tom believes, like all Scientologists, that he can't be connected to Suri," Leah told the New York Post. "I'm sure his master plan is to wait until Suri gets older so that he can lure her into Scientology and away from her mother."

Tom and Katie split in 2012 when Suri was 6 years old.

"I knew Katie when she was in (Scientology) and she seemed very indoctrinated into Tom's world," she said. "But as time went on, and I understood why she did what she did to protect her daughter … I'm only assuming that there's some type of agreement to protect her daughter."

The "King of Queens" actress added that she's "really proud" of Katie "for getting her daughter out of something that would have been potentially very toxic and dangerous for not only Suri but for their relationship."

Since 2013, Leah has made it her mission to bring down Scientology, the religion in which she was raised. After actor Danny Masterson, a prominent Scientologist, had been charged with raping three women earlier this year, she tweeted, "This is just the beginning Scientology, your days of getting away with it is coming to an end."

The "That '70s Show" star has proclaimed his innocence via his lawyer.

Last year, Leah spoke to two of Danny's accusers on the finale of her Emmy-winning A&E docuseries, "Scientology and the Aftermath." The interview aired after four women filed a lawsuit against the actor, the Church of Scientology and its leader, David Miscavige, in August 2019 for allegedly stalking and intimidating them in an effort to silence them after they filed sexual assault claims against the star. According to The Blast, the lawsuit alleged that the religion engaged in a "conspiracy to cover up that Daniel Masterson sexually assaulted four young women."

The church has often spoken out against Leah, stating that her show is full of "lies, distortions and exhortations to hate and bigotry." A statement last year claimed, "Leah Remini has blood on her hands."

Leah has acknowledged that the church is very powerful, but she still refuses to stay silent.

"At the end of the day, I can't live my life in fear of doing the right thing because I'm fearful that something is going to happen to me," she said. "I mean, I have a daughter that's where really my concern is. I don't want my daughter to ever get caught up in this."

Ring thing

Tyra Banks' sparkly ring sparks engagement rumors

Tyra Banks' newest accessory has many wondering if she's secretly engaged.

Over the weekend, the new "Dancing with the Stars" host was photographed wearing a huge diamond ring on her left ring finger. The photo, which Page Six published, shows Tyra leaving her soon-to-open theme park, ModelLand, in Santa Monica, California. Other than her oh-so-telling bling, Tyra was dressed down in black joggers, a dark sweatshirt and a face mask.

The legendary supermodel has been linked to Canadian businessman Louis Bélanger-Martin for well over a year. A source told Page Six earlier this year that the duo are "very, very much in love."

John Photography/Shutterstock

"They're a pretty happy couple and have been together for over a year," the source said in January.

Tyra and Louis were first photographed together in Los Angeles in August 2019, but at the time, his identity wasn't publicly known. In the fall, they were spotted together several times and displayed some "low-key" PDA at a New York City restaurant.

The romance has moved quickly. In November 2019, Page Six reported that Tyra and Louis were living together, although he spends ample time across the pond to be with his teenage son, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Valérie Martin Scraire.

"Louis also spends some time with his own child in England and around the world for business," Page Six's source said. "Tyra's child has his own room at Louis [and] Valerie's house in Magog [Quebec] and Tyra moved some of her stuff — clothes, jewelry — there too."

cross-country flirting

Kendall Jenner gets flirty with rumored beau inside NBA bubble

Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker are keeping their alleged romance fun and flirty from afar with some sweet messages.

Earlier this week, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star posted a quick video of herself, presumably from her house in Los Angeles. She captioned the video with a strawberry emoji. Soon after, Devin, who's sequestered in Florida, commented, "I like strawberries."

Kendall replied to the Phoenix Suns stud with four "strawberry" animations.

Kendall, 24, and Devin, 23, were first linked in April after they were spotted together at a rest stop near Sedona, Arizona, as they took a road trip in his $200,000 Mercedes Benz Maybach. At the time, friends insisted that Kendall and Devin were just friends and ran in the same social circle, but witnesses said they "looked" like a couple. They've also had similar Instagram posts of late.

In June, they were seen at a fancy restaurant together in Malibu.

Brandon Dill/AP/Shutterstock

It's possible that that dinner date was the last time Kendall and Devin saw each other, as he's been in the NBA's "bubble environment" in Orlando for the last month (he's also been lighting it up in the NBA's restart, as the Suns are unbeaten).

After Kendall and Devin's online flirting, fans were quick to comment.

"D BOOK DON'T MISS!" one fan wrote.

Another joked that the Suns are 7-0 in the NBA bubble, whereas "book is 8-0."

"Another game winner," another person wrote.

For Kendall to be linked to a basketball star is nothing new. She has previously dated 76ers star Ben Simmons and the Detroit Pistons' Blake Griffin. The reality TV star has also been linked to D'Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson and Kyle Kuzma over the years, but she's publicly denied dating those three.

Devin, who's in the middle of a five-year $158 million contract, formerly dated Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner's ex-BFF who was ousted from the famous family after allegedly hooking up with Tristan Thompson, the father of Khloe Kardashian's baby.
