"She said yes!"
That's how Tarek El Moussa announced his engagement to Heather Rae Young on Instagram early Sunday morning after he popped the question at the Descano Beach Club in California.
Sharing a photo of the loved-up couple in black formal wear out as he slips a ring on her finger, the "Flip or Flop" star added the hashtag, "#FlippingHerLastName."
"The Future Mrs. Tarek El Moussa!!!!" Heather, 32, wrote alongside the same photo on her Instagram page.
According to ET, the two were celebrating their one-year anniversary when he proposed.
Congratulations poured in quickly from the couple's friends, with Amanza Smith, Heather's "Selling Sunset" co-star noting she secretly thought the two might get engaged this weekend.

"OMG!!!! I was soooo hoping this would happen during your amazing anniversary adventure! Congratulations babe! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 big hugs to you both!! Xoxoxo," Amanza wrote in the comments.
Tarek, who split with his reality show co-host Christina Anstead in 2016, went public with his relationship with Heather in August of last year.
It wasn't long before Christina moved into Tarek's "bachelor dad pad," as he called it. This spring, the pair moved into their first home together, in Southern California's Newport Beach.
The move sparked engagement chatter, but as Heather told ET in May, she was in no hurry to walk down the aisle.
"We just have the best time together. He's my best friend in the whole world and I'm just really enjoying what we have right now. I don't feel like there's a rush," she said at the time.
"And honestly, I want him to feel a hundred percent ready. He went through a very public divorce. He went through a really rough time, and I want him to do it when he feels ready. And like I said, I'm loving life and I'm loving every single day with him and the kids and I'm not in a rush," she continued, referencing the son and daughter Tarek shares with his ex, Christina.
" I mean, do I wanna be engaged? Of course, who doesn't," Heather told ET. "But I'm not pushing him."
Guess there was no pushing needed!
