During an appearance on "The Daily Beast Podcast," journalist Tara Palmeri claimed Ghislaine Maxwell — who was arrested in July 2020 — may be sharing what she knows with investigators to cut her sentence short."I think she's probably helping them right now," she told host Joanna Coles. "I don't think she's going to spend all 20 years in jail."
"They can't let her out right now, there would be public outrage," Palmeri emphasized. "But [when] nobody's paying attention, story's gone away, few years, Ghislaine's out, or ends up in some nice prison. This is what I've been told by law enforcement sources."

Tara Palmeri alleged prosecutors are secretly working to build their case against the influential men accused of abusing girls trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein. Despite the males who were allegedly in their orbit, the reporter made clear that the people the feds are going after weren't on a client list and that one does not exist."When they first raided [Epstein's house] for the 2006 case, they found a lot of cameras everywhere," Palmeri explained. "I think he was using that information as 'kompromat' (compromising material used to blackmail and control powerful people) to build his business, to make money."

According to Tara Palmeri, the alleged footage is so explicit that it could potentially reopen Ghislaine Maxwell's case."If prosecutors release the footage, Maxwell's lawyers could pounce," Palmeri said. "That's why they're slow-rolling it. But I've been told they're still building cases. I don't think she'll spend 20 years in jail. She has cards to play."
