Donald Trump previously threatened to deport
Prince Harry after the Duke of Sussex fessed up to experimenting with illegal substances in his memoir,
Spare. Harry's visa application has been a topic of interest since then. Recently, however, the retired royal scored a small win in his battle to continue living and working in the United States…

The Heritage Foundation previously sued
Joe Biden's administration over
Prince Harry's visa application. The conservative think tank sought to confirm whether or not the retired royal lied about drug use on his application and subsequently received special treatment from the Department of Homeland Security, which fought to keep his paperwork private. The Heritage Foundation expected to have better luck with Trump's DHS, but, once again, a judge ruled that Harry's visa records should remain private.

It now appears that
Prince Harry may have received a "golden ticket" A-1 visa, which is typically reserved for heads of state and foreign royals. If he did, in fact, receive the special visa, the contents of his application would be a bit of a moot point. "The Department of State vets and issues the A-1 visa with little input from the Department of Homeland Security," immigration attorney Melissa Chavin told
DailyMail.com.

"I would expect that
Prince Harry had an A-1 visa every year of his life. Take his age and divide by five to figure out how many applications he has filed [or were filed on his behalf when he was underage] – so about 8 applications," Melissa Chavin continued, adding that "each visa will have a duration of five years, good for multiple entries to the United States."
_
"Each entry will be permitted for an indefinite period of time called 'duration of status,' meaning for the time that [
Prince Harry] remains close to becoming the king of England. For him, that is all of his life," Melissa Chavin explained. (The Duke of Sussex is currently fifth in line to the throne.)

A source told
DailyMail.com that
Prince Harry's "golden ticket" visa essentially allows him to "sit here [in the US] forever." The Duke of Sussex previously said he "enjoys" living in California and doesn't plan on leaving the Golden State anytime soon.
