During the media gathering, Karoline Leavitt was pressed about whether or not Donald Trump was toying with the "idea" of deporting U.S. citizens."These would be heinous, violent criminals who have broken our nation's laws repeatedly. These are violent, repeat offenders on American streets," the press liaison explained. "The president has said if it's legal, right, if there is a legal pathway to do that. He's not sure, [and] we are not sure if there is. It's an idea that he has simply floated and has discussed very publicly in the effort of transparency."

The confession comes as Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor gave a staunch warning that Donald Trump may exert his power by deporting Americans."Not only noncitizens but also United States citizens could be taken off the streets, forced onto planes and confined to foreign prisons with no opportunity for redress if judicial review is denied unlawfully before removal," she wrote in a document regarding the Supreme Court's motion to give emergency relief to the government in a case about deportations.

As Donald Trump continues his mass deportations, his administration is imposing new consequences if undocumented immigrants fail to vacate the United States.According to documents obtained by Reuters via NBC News, the Republican leader will allegedly be fining $998 a day to people who refuse to leave America. If they fail to hand over the money, they will seize their property.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has been clear about the actions Donald Trump's administration plan to carry out."This is one of the consequences you could face," she said in a video of herself standing in front of prisoners at an El Salvador prison in March. "First of all, do not come to our country illegally. You will be removed and you will be prosecuted. But know that this facility is one of the tools in our toolkit that we will use if you commit crimes against the American people."
