Gorgeous is not in her name for nothing!
YouTube star Gigi Gorgeous owned the runway at the American Heart Association's Red Dress event during New York Fashion Week on Feb. 11, 2016.
For the fashion show, the 23-year-old wore a dazzling Laurel Dewitt custom-made backless red gown with gold chain pieces and a plunging neckline. She also topped off the look with a sharp headpiece that had both roses and what looked like gold sticks popping out to form a crown.
"How insane is my look for the #RedDressCollection fashion show? Thank you so much @laureldewitt for this custom moment❤ #GoRed," Gigi tweeted out with a link to photos of her look on Instagram.
One fan even responded to the pics by saying that the headpiece looked like the Statue of Liberty's.
Fans also saw similarities between her and Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga, but beyond the style resemblances, there was a lot of support from her fans who wrote how beautiful she looked.
Her walk on the runway was another historic moment for the transgender community. Gigi is the second transgender woman to walk the runway after Laverne Cox made headlines as the first to do so in 2015.
The walk was also filmed as part of Gigi's upcoming documentary that will air on YouTube's Red paid subscription service.
Formerly known as Gregory Lazzarato, Gigi is the subject of an as yet untitled documentary, that will follow her transition from male to female.
The beauty and fashion vlogger first made the announcement that she was transgender to her over 2.1 million subscribers in a December 2013 YouTube video.
"I've spent the last five years going through a very personal journey," she said in a statement. "I'm nervous but thrilled to lift the curtain and share my intimate details and experiences through this film on YouTube Red."
