Josh Brolin Opens Up About Early Drug Use and Sex in Men's Journal
Thanks to a handful of arrests, including a public intoxication citation on New Year's Day, Josh Brolin's got a reputation for being a little rough around the edges. Turns out the 44-year-old actor and husband to Diane Lane has been honing his notoriety since he was just a kid. Admitting that he lost his virginity at the age of 11 and spent his teenage downtime breaking into cars and stealing radios ("I can still do it today," he boasts), Brolin tells the new issue of Men's Journal that he was also in a gang and briefly into hard drugs. "I was the last [gang member] to get into heroin -- I smoked it — and the first to get out," he says. "I was around 16 or 17, so it was around the time of 'The Goonies.' But I liked working and learning, so it was very difficult for me to lend myself to that drug completely." (Celebitchy)
