King Charles III brought the
price of his Highgrove brand jam down to $6.70 per jar. Meghan Markle's brand currently stands at $14 per container. "Our Sandringham raspberry preserve is naturally made to a unique recipe, with locally sourced ingredients," the description on the former Prince of Wales' condiment reads. "This ruby-red conserve is perfect on warm buttered toast, or for topping a freshly baked scone."

Meghan Markle's As Ever jam, which is placed at a higher price point, promises to pack a punch. Per the website, the spread "mixes the sweetness of raspberries with a hint of lemon." The label claims it's "crafted with a fluid texture so it can be drizzled, spread, poured and enjoyed for so much more than your morning toast."

Meghan Markle caused controversy when she left some key people off the list to try her natural spread. On an episode of her show,
With Love, Meghan, the mother of two recalled the debacle during a chat with guest
Mindy Kaling: "When I received a box of your preserves in the mail, it was probably one of the most glamorous moments of my life," the former star of
The Office said. "But then I looked at the label and it said there were like 50 and then I, of course, as a very hierarchical person, was like, 'Who are these other people? Does having a lower number make me more special?'" Replied the Duchess of Sussex, "I did not think about it. It was not a ranking. It was just, 'Let me share them.' And then people started to take it very personally. I did save one of 50 for my mom. [That] felt like the right thing to do. And then I just thought, anyone who got one of those 50 jars that I was making on my stove in my actual kitchen at my house, I hope they all felt like, 'No, I want to share this with you.'"
