During the broadcast, Julia Hartley-Brewer said she was excited to talk about Meghan Markle and the second season of With Love, Meghan — but for all the wrong reasons."Welcome back to the show. I've been looking forward to this all morning. I really have," the host told viewers.
"Meghan Markle, you remember her? The Duchess of Sussex. She does not come into the news much. She's very big on privacy for herself and her family, as you will all know," she sarcastically quipped. "But she has a new series on Netflix. For some reason, Netflix thought it was good to do a second series even though the first series was somewhat of a flop, especially for the millions they paid for it."

The screen then flashed to a clip from With Love, Meghan of Meghan Markle explaining to chef José Andrés that her husband, Prince Harry, is not a fan of lobster as they prepared the seafood dish."Well, that gives you a taste of the utter pointlessness of this show," Julia Hartley-Brewer lamented.
"So, you don't have to watch it, and I don't have to watch it. It's just 49 seconds there. We've got to talk to royal correspondent Rupert Bell," the television star said, introducing her guest before asking, "Who are all these people going around boiling and eating lobster. I mean, you're a posho, is lobster a normal part of your diet?"
Bell joined in on the Meghan take-down by calling the episode "drivel" and calling the Suits actress "fake."
"It's people with too much time on their hands," Julia added. "When she started making a bath bomb, I lost the will to live. It was either killing myself or turning it off, so I went for the turning it off option."

Despite breaking free from the firm and leaving Britain in 2020, Meghan Markle is continuously a target in Prince Harry's home country.According to Ingrid Seward, the author of the royal biography My Mother and I, the mother of two is "disliked intensely by a large number of the monarchists" in the U.K.
"They see her as being very damaging to the royal family. And also, I think a lot of people in America feel the same," she noted.
