Royal followers want
Prince Harry and
Meghan Markle replaced with other members of their extended family. Social media users are calling for
Princess Anne's daughter,
Zara Tindall, and her husband,
Mike Tindall, to assume the roles the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left behind — in spite of the fact that they are not working royals and do not have official titles.

People are pleading on social media for Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall — who only appear with the royal family at major events, such as the Royal Ascot or Christmas gatherings — to take on larger roles in
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's absence. "Please offer Zara and Mike jobs as working royals. Surely, they would be great representatives. The British royal family is in desperate need of a boost to support our beautiful future king and queen," one person wrote on X. "Such a lovely, loving, fun couple. They would absolutely be a refreshing, hardworking and respectful working royal couple. Perfect for
Prince William's future monarchy," a second royal watcher said. A third fan noted, "They would be brilliant, but they seem to have worked out a perfect life for themselves and their lovely family."

Although the public may want Zara Tindall and husband Mike Tindall to be more active in the monarchy, the accomplished equestrian is happy to live her life in private. "From my point of view, I was obviously very lucky that my mother [Princess Anne] didn't give us any titles, so I really commend her on that," Zara once
said. "We were very lucky that we got to do it a bit our own way. My family has a great work ethic as well which I'm hoping they instilled in me and is still going to this day."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle retired from their royal duties and moved to California in 2020. The Duke of Sussex seems interested in returning to his charity work in the U.K., but his estranged father,
King Charles III, is reportedly intent on sticking to the late
Queen Elizabeth II's rule that there can be no part-time working royals. "The king has been absolutely clear in upholding his late mother's decision that there can be no 'half-in, half-out' public role for members of the family,"
a source claimed.
