Andrew renounced his dukedom after
Virginia Giuffre's posthumous memoir led to the assault allegations against him resurfacing. Due to Andrew no longer being the Duke of York, his ex-wife can't use her Duchess of York title.
However, "Sarah is relaxed … it's always been a courtesy title," the source shared.

Prince Andrew resigned from public duties in 2019 and was later stripped of his HRH status the following year, but the scandal continues to follow him.
"In discussion with the king, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the royal family," Andrew said in a statement about letting go of the titles. "I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life."

"With His Majesty's agreement, we feel I must now go a step further," Prince Andrew continued. "I will therefore no longer use my title or the honors which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me."

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew will no longer use their duke and duchess titles, but Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie can still be the Princesses of York.
