Princess Anne reportedly gifted her brother, King Charles III, a leather toilet seat during his time as the Prince of Wales. "What is it we used to call the loo? We would call it the throne. You go and sit on the throne," former royal press secretary
Dickie Arbiter explained the joke in a documentary, according to
Daily Express.

"So buying a leather-bound loo seat was really Princess Anne's way of saying, 'Here you are, you've got your own personal throne,'" Dickie Arbiter continued of her gift to King Charles III.

Christmas is likely to look a little different for King Charles III and Princess Anne this year with their brother,
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, ostracized from the royal family due to his recent scandals. According to one royal expert, it's unlikely he will be around the monarch in the future. "While Andrew, of course, will always remain his brother, now that he's a private citizen, the king is likely to further publicly distance himself," Hilary Fordwich told
Fox News Digital.

"We won't be seeing Andrew [Mountbatten-Windsor] at any [holiday] festivities. He's actually made it worse for himself due to his pride and pervasively privileged attitude, thinking he's still entitled," Hilary Fordwich continued.
