The 2026 Actor Awards — hosted by
Kristen Bell at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on March 1 — celebrated some of Hollywood's biggest stars, who chose to share the evening with family members rather than romantic partners.
Timothée Chalamet, for example, made headlines when he walked the red carpet with his mother,

Teyana Taylor and daughter Rue Rose Shumpert
Teyana Taylor made the evening extra special by bringing her 5-year-old daughter, Rue Rose Shumpert, as her date.
Her little helper on the red carpet adjusted her long gown, which was embellished with 400,000 sequins and 175,000 beads.
Shumpert, meanwhile, looked adorable in a pink knee-length skirt paired with a striped cardigan.

During his acceptance speech, he recognized all the sacrifices she made to help him get to where he is today: "Mom, thank you for driving me back and forth to New York when we didn't have enough money to go through the Holland Tunnel, when we were looking for gas money, parking spaces, when I went up there for my auditions," he said.

Danny Fujikawa, but when he fell ill at the last minute, she called in a favor from her brother, actor
Oliver Hudson.
"This is an impromptu," Kate told
Entertainment Tonight, with Oliver adding that it was all due to a "last-minute situation."
"Danny got, like, crazy sick, and I was like, 'Oliver, you need to be my date!'" the
