"Lord, we want you to bless our sister Nicki Minaj, Lord," Deon Cole began his speech, fully committing to a preacher-style bit."She's been going through a lot lately. Hasn't been herself, Lord," he continued.

Deon Cole's joke about Nicki Minaj "not being herself" appeared to reference the controversy surrounding her outspoken support of President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance. In recent months, the rapper has attended several political events and even described herself as the president's "No. 1 fan."
Her endorsement hasn't gone unnoticed by Trump, who recently gifted her a signed Bible.
She shared a photo of the Holy Bible, which was inscribed with "God Bless The USA" and Trump's signature, captioning it, "One of the most meaningful gifts I've ever received in my entire life."

The signed Bible isn't the only gift Nicki Minaj has proudly showcased.Earlier this year, the rapper, who is from the Saint James district of Port of Spain in Trinidad and Tobago, posted a photo of a Trump Gold Card — which offers wealthy foreign nationals an expedited route to permanent residency.
Around the same time, she revealed she was in the process of completing her U.S. citizenship paperwork.
"Residency? Residency? The cope is coping," she wrote in one X post. "Finalizing that citizenship paperwork as we speak as per my wonderful, gracious, charming President. Thanks to the petition."
In another post, she added, "I wouldn't have done it without you. Oh CitizenNIKA you are thee moment Gold Trump card free of charge."
