While there were concerns about how Philippe Junot would fit into Princess Caroline's royal circle, the couple wed in 1978 at the Palace of Monaco. Grace Kelly's concerns about the relationship proved to be justified, though, as the couple divorced in 1980 after just two years of marriage.

Princess Caroline married her second husband, Stefano Casiraghi, in 1983. They had three children before he died in a 1990 powerboat racing accident. Caroline married her third husband, Prince Ernst August of Hanover, in 1999.
