Following the activist's passing,
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle honored Jane Goodall's legacy in a statement.
"Dr. Jane Goodall DBE was a visionary humanitarian, scientist, friend to the planet, and friend to us," the Sussexes said. "Her commitment to changing lives extends beyond what the world saw, and also to what we personally felt."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continued. "She will be deeply missed."
