Years after the end of their friendship, Jessica Mulroney may be getting ready to tell the world what Meghan Markle is really like behind the scenes. "Jessica's explosive story is the one publishers want to get their hands on. She could command up to a seven-figure dollar sum depending on what she is prepared to say," the source said. "There's huge interest in Jessica's perspective and her time in the royal spotlight when friends with Meghan. People would rush to buy Jessica's book to know what really happened between them. Hers is the real story royal watchers want to read and are asking for."

Jessica Mulroney and Meghan Markle were friends for years before the Suits star began dating Prince Harry. The former besties met in Toronto, where the fashion maven lives and where Markle filmed the USA series that made her a star. However, after content creator Sasha Exeter publicly accused Mulroney of wielding her "textbook white privilege" to threaten her livelihood, Markle distanced herself from her former friend. "Jessica was let down and hurt by these false accusations swirling around her. She was really put through the mud in 2020 and has had an emotional time since then, watching from the sidelines while it all played out in the media with false reports about her and unable to say anything," the source said. "This could be her chance to set the record straight about a lot of things that she was accused of, after being canceled."

Meghan Markle should be concerned If Jessica Mulroney does publish a book telling her side of the story. "She has the receipts. No one had a voice for her and helped her to get the truth out at the time, so writing a book would be the chance to reclaim her power and counteract the false stories, like the one about the treatment of Princess Charlotte during the bridesmaid's dress fitting in 2018 for Meghan's wedding to Prince Harry," the insider explained. "If she goes ahead with a book deal, Jessica would finally be able to explain what really took place at that time and correct all the false narratives that have been spun around her."

Meghan Markle was reportedly shocked by Jessica Mulroney's "tone deaf" behavior leading up to the stylist's cancelation in 2020. "Meghan is absolutely mortified that she's been dragged into this complete mess. She said Jessica is in no way a racist, but the way she handled the situation was tone deaf and heartbreaking," a separate
source close to the former actress said at the time.
