In an Instagram post, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust revealed Kate Middleton's heartfelt gift."Thank you to HRH The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden with HRH The Prince of Wales, for donating a majestic Christmas tree from the 'Together at Christmas' Carol Service, held at Westminster Abbey earlier this month," the hospital wrote in a caption.

"We'd also like to thank Stephen Phair at @premier_plants for donating the decorations, and for his time decorating it so beautifully," the hospital continued._
Kate Middleton, who is in remission, has become an advocate for cancer patients and survivors after her own health battle. The Princess of Wales took a step back from the spotlight while going through chemotherapy, but she is now in the swing of things."You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism, through treatment. Treatment's done, and it's like, 'I can crack on, get back to normal again,' but actually that phase afterwards is a really difficult time," Kate said while visiting Colchester Hospital.

"You're not able to function normally at home as you were perhaps once used to," Kate Middleton added._
While at the hospital, Kate Middleton stressed the importance of keeping busy while undergoing treatment."It's a roller coaster. It's not one smooth plain, which you expect it to be, but the reality is it's not. You go through hard times, and to have a place like this, to have the support network, whether it's through creativity and singing or gardening, whatever it might be, is so valuable, and it's great that this community has it," the princess said. "It would be great if lots of communities had this kind of support."
