After announcing his diagnosis, King Charles III made a bold decision about how he wanted to approach his health battle.
"When his treatment began at the private London Clinic, he insisted he be driven to and from hospital in the state Bentley for the first few weeks, its unusually large windows ensuring he was visible to the public as he left Clarence House or Buckingham Palace,"
The Times reported.

"Aides had suggested a more discreet option — a 'low-key' BMW official car or a vehicle with blacked-out windows from the royal fleet — but the King was adamant that even if he looked under par some days, he would not hide away from public view," the outlet reported.

King Charles III, who isn't in remission, recently shared a positive update with the public.
"Today I am able to share with you the good news that thanks to early diagnosis, effective intervention and adherence to 'doctors' orders,' my own schedule of cancer treatment can be reduced in the new year," Charles said in a Stand Up To Cancer broadcast.

"I know from my own experience that a cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming," King Charles III continued. "Yet I also know that early detection is the key that can transform treatment journeys, giving invaluable time to medical teams."
