Despite being invited to spend Christmas with her disgraced parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, as well as the annual Sandringham gathering with the royals, Princess Beatrice isn't attending either.A source told The Sun that the 37-year-old wants to "avoid embarrassment" and will be spending the day skiing with her husband, Edo Mapelli Mozzi, and their friends instead.

According to the source, Princess Beatrice has been "tormented" over picking her parents and King Charles III. "She didn't want it to look like they were snubbing anyone, so it was easier to go off with friends," the insider said._
Although King Charles III stripped Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson of their titles over their ties to Jeffrey Epstein, he has been protecting Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. "That is why with Eugenie they went to Buckingham Palace for the pre-Christmas family lunch," the source claimed. "She appreciates the way that the King and [Prince] William have looked after her during everything that has been happening with Andy and Sarah."_
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, who divorced in 1996, are spending their last Christmas in Royal Lodge after being evicted. "With everything that's gone, on he's very much like the Grinch. It's clear this year that festive cheer is in short supply," the source said of the former Duke of York._
Princess Eugenie might also forgo both gatherings this year. "Eugenie was tempted to stay in Portugal with her family and husband, Jack Brooksbank. She is so settled there, far from all the drama," a source told The Mail on Sunday._
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have retained their royal titles amid Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson's public downfall. "It must be incredibly tough to see your parents so publicly humiliated and evicted from their home. Beatrice and Eugenie must have deeply divided loyalties," royal correspondent Jennie Bond told The Mirror.
