Queen Elizabeth II's former aide thinks

During an interview for the U.K. documentary
Prince Harry: My Terrible Year, Ailsa Anderson revealed she got to know
Prince Harry well during her time working for Queen Elizabeth II, calling him a "very warm, engaging and kind person." However, the former assistant noted she doesn't like the way the 40-year-old is handling the drama with his family in the public eye. "Stop being the victim and start being the hero of the piece, start writing your own script," Anderson said. "I think people are just getting a little bit tired of how
Prince Harry thinks the world is against him and how awful his life is."

Ailsa Anderson emphasized how she believes
Prince Harry is being "too impulsive" when it comes to telling the world about his strained relationships with
Prince William and
King Charles III following his retirement as a working royal and move to the United States in 2020. "I think trust is paramount in every walk of life, if you can't trust your family, who can you trust?" the former royal staffer said.

During a recent BBC interview,
Prince Harry claimed his father, King Charles III, "won't speak" to him despite the 76-year-old's cancer diagnosis. "I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point in continuing to fight anymore," he said. "Life is precious. I don't know how much longer my father has. There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family."

While some insiders say there might be a road to reconciliation between
Prince Harry and King Charles III, there's reportedly less hope for Harry's relationship with
Prince William. "I think that Harry's relationship with his brother is a different beast than his relationship with his father," royal expert
Kristen Meinzer said. "But perhaps if Charles warms more to Harry, William will feel compelled to follow his lead."
