Scruples and the "Real Housewives" franchise don't exactly go hand in hand, but has Porsha Williams sunk to mercenary new depths in the wake of her meager divorce settlement with former NFL player Kordell Stewart?
TMZ says the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star, who walked away from her nearly two-year marriage with little more than what she walked in with, is dating Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, the moneybags son of the human rights-violating dictator of Equatorial Guinea.
Mangue has apparently enjoyed the spoils from the small but oil-rich African region, even as its poverty-stricken people suffer under the long-ruling regime. His holdings are said to include a massive Malibu mansion, a massive Paris pied-a-terre (seized in a 2012 corruption investigation), a massive luxury car collection and a massive cache of Michael Jackson memorabilia featuring seven life-size statues and the sparkly white glove from his Bad tour.
Porsha's romance with Mangue, 42, is fairly new but "it's escalating fast," and he's apparently looking to buy her a multimillion-dollar house in Atlanta, says TMZ, which claims he's already treated her to a Rolls Royce, along with luxury goods from Chanel and Louboutin.
Williams doesn't appear to be feeling any pangs of guilt over benefiting from Mangue's ill-gotten gains (he serves as second vice-president of Equatorial Guinea, a position that pays less than $100,000 a year). She's posted photos of some of the alleged gifts on Instagram.
At least the pair have a shared interest: Mangue, who was previously linked to rapper Eve, founded a hip-hop label and recorded an album under the name Teddy Bear. Porsha is releasing a single called "Flatline" on March 17.
