CINCINNATI (AP) -- Showing once again that she can create a stir with just her presence, celebrity socialite Paris Hilton helped open a new nightclub in Cincinnati.

The owners of Bang nightclub brought in Hilton and her boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt, on Wednesday night to help kick off the club's conversion into a new one called Lush.

Once word got out, about 500 people showed up at Bang and paid $20 a person or $500 for a VIP table for 10 to party with Hilton. The crowd included the mayor and two Cincinnatians who were part of the boy band 98 Degrees, Nick Lachey and Justin Jeffre.
