As the old saying goes, age ain't nothing but a number.
But for Sarah Jessica Parker, she's perfectly content with both her age and aging and she can't understand why anyone would want to alter the process.
In an October 2023 chat with The Telegraph, the 58-year-old "Sex and the City" star spoke about her appearance and questioned why men don't face the same beauty standards as women…

Sarah Jessica Parker doesn't seem to understand why society cares so much about appearances, especially when people have such busy lives.
"I am so confused by the fact that the majority of men my age are simply never asked about aging," SJP told The Telegraph in an October 2023 interview. "We all wake up, have a million things going on, and just need to get on with our days — I just don't understand the emphasis that is placed on the pondering of aging."

While getting Botox has become incredibly normal in modern society, Sarah Jessica Parker doesn't plan to ever try to defy Father Time.
"I'm an actor — I have to move my eyebrows. I'm meant to be sharing emotions and communicating with my face," she told The Telegraph.

Sarah Jessica Parker's thoughts aren't exactly new.
In a previous conversation with Women's Wear Daily, she was asked about getting older after partnering with Roc Skincare on their Look Forward Project.
"I'm probably less concerned about [aging] than I was a year ago," she said in August 2023. "I just don't summon the time and energy to be worried. And to hear a large skin care line say, 'We don't want you to, we're not going to pretend that we're changing this process of waking up another day,' the relationship has been affirming, and it's given me what I need."

In 2021 after her "Sex and the City" sequel series "And Just Like That…" debuted, Sarah Jessica Parker and her co-stars were criticized for having gray hair and embracing wrinkles.
"'Gray hair, gray hair, gray hair. Does she have gray hair?'" SJP told Vogue afterward, referencing the commentary. "I'm sitting with [Bravo host] Andy Cohen, and he has a full head of gray hair, and he's exquisite. Why is it OK for him? I don't know what to tell you people!
"It almost feels as if people don't want us to be perfectly OK with where we are, as if they almost enjoy us being pained by who we are today, whether we choose to age naturally and not look perfect, or whether you do something if that makes you feel better," she continued. "I know what I look like. I have no choice. What am I going to do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?"
