There's nothing like a big celebrity breakup to send gossip-hungry fans scouring the Internet for more dirt. News of Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo's split certainly moved this pair up the most-searched list. (Actually, Vanessa edged out Nick in popularity, but this is already a hard time for him so we won't rub it in.)

If breakups are big, celebrity sex tapes are huge. No sooner did news emerge that "Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester was spotted in a sex tape (using her "very talented feet," no less) than the 23-year-old brunette hurtled to the top of the most-searched list.
