The U.K. government is reviewing
Prince Harry's security case after previously claiming the duke and his family cannot receive state-sponsored protection.
"Well, I think what has changed is that Harry and Meghan do intend to come back," editor
Richard Eden told
Daily Mail.

"Harry wants to live in Britain again. I'm not saying permanently or anything, but I'm talking about spending much more time here and having some sort of resident status," Richard Eden continued.

Prince Harry previously claimed he felt "forced" to leave the U.K. due to security concerns, but he still wants to bring his kids,
Prince Archie and
Princess Lilibet, to the region.
"[Harry] loves life in California in many ways, but he's got old attachments here," Richard Eden said. "He's involved with charity patronages, and he's really keen for his kids to grow up here."

In his security lawsuit,
Prince Harry painted the U.K. as unsafe for Meghan Markle and their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
"It's still dangerous, and all it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this stuff to act on what they have read," Harry said. "And whether it's a knife or acid, whatever it is, and these are things that are of genuine concern for me. It's one of the reasons why I won't bring my wife back to this country."

"The U.K. is my home. The U.K. is central to the heritage of my children and a place I want them to feel at home as much as where they live at the moment in the United States," Harry continued. "That cannot happen if there is no possibility to keep them safe when they are on U.K. soil."
