The
Baywatch family is mourning one of their own: Actress Pamela Bach died by suicide at her home in Los Angeles on March 6, 2025.
The blonde beauty was two years into her marriage with
Baywatch lead David Hasselhoff — with whom she shared actress daughters Hayley Hasselhoff and Taylor-Ann Hasselhoff — when she made her debut as journalist Kaye Morgan on season 2 in 1991. She appeared on the show intermittently between the third and sixth seasons, then portrayed two different characters on seasons 8 and 10.

Pamela Bach only acted a handful of times after she made her final appearance on "Baywatch" in 2000. In 2011 — five years after she and
Baywatch star David Hasselhoff divorced — she appeared on the British version of
Celebrity Big Brother. She was found dead in her Los Angeles home on March 6, 2025. According to
TMZ, she took her own life. She was 62.
"Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult period but kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time," David said in a statement in the wake of the news.

David Hasselhoff acted on the stage after "Baywatch." In 2000, while finishing up his run on the show, he made his Broadway debut in "Jekyll & Hyde" and in 2004, he starred in a London production of "Chicago." The Hoff also ventured into reality television in 2010: He starred on A&E's "The Hasselhoffs" alongside daughters Hayley, who went on to become a plus-size model, and Taylor, a luxury real estate agent who appeared on "Rich Kids of Beverly Hills" in 2015. The actor, who's made headlines with his alcoholism struggles — and with his contentious 2006 divorce from second wife Pamela Bach — started dating Welsh former factory worker Hayley Roberts,
who's nearly 28 years his junior, in 2011; they married in 2018. In recent years, fans have seen The Hoff — who's kept his music career alive over the decades (he released his 15th studio album, "Party Your Hasselhoff," in 2021) — in a cameo in the 2017 "Baywatch" movie and on a 2021 episode of "Young Sheldon."

Though she wasn't part of the original cast, "Baywatch" star Pamela Anderson is perhaps the show's biggest star. Pamela joined the series in 1992 and stayed through 1997 in the role of lifeguard C.J. Parker. Pam has said that one of the reasons she was attracted to the character was C.J.'s affinity for New Age thinking, something she shared with the fictional lifeguard.

After leaving "Baywatch," Pamela Anderson's fame continued to skyrocket. In 1998, she began a four-year starring run on the TV show "V.I.P." She also became an author: In 2005, she co-wrote the novel "Star"; in 2015, she published "Raw," which features pictures and her handwritten poetry; in 2018, she released "Lust for Love: Rekindling Intimacy and Passion in Your Relationship," which was co-written with rabbi and author Shmuley Boteach. The actress participated on "Celebrity Fit Club" in 2010 and came in second place on the celebrity diving competition show "Splash" in 2013. In 2014, she left acting behind to become an ice cream truck owner and driver. She came out of her Hollywood retirement to make an appearance on the E! reality show "Botched" in 2015 to get a breast reduction. She made headlines in 2018 when she publicly accused former "Charles in Charge" co-star Scott Baio, who's 11 years her senior, of abusing her "probably once a week" from 14 to 16 and said they got together when she was 17. He vehemently denied her claims and insisted their sole encounter took place when she was 18. Billy Warlock enjoyed a successful career on daytime television after his "Baywatch" days with stints on soap operas including "Days of Our Lives," "The Young and the Restless," "One Life to Live" and "General Hospital." In 2006, Billy married his former "Days" and "As the World Turns" co-star Julie Pinson. Though he continued to work on daytime dramas until 2010, he then took a break from Hollywood.
