Like mother, like daughter!
In September 2023, Sweden's 11-year-old future queen, Princess Estelle, arrived at an opera performance celebrating grandfather King Carl XVI Gustaf's Jubilee marking 50 years on the throne with her little brother, Prince Oscar, in tow — and wearing what appeared to be the same stunning green H&M Conscious Collection gown that her mother, Crown Princess Victoria, has worn on previous occasions.
Victoria is seen here in the dress while on an official royal visit to Amsterdam in The Netherlands in 2022.

On July 31, Catherine Zeta-Jones stepped out in Portofino, Italy, with her husband, Michael Douglas, in a dress that seemed quite familiar to fashion fans… That's because we've definitely seen it before! Nearly two decades ago, Jessica Simpson wore the exact same Emanuel Ungaro confection to the 2005 VH1 Awards in Los Angeles. At the time, the funky drop-waist halter-neck dress — which features a rope-tie with tassels at the neckline and a purple leopard-print panel on the upper portion of the skirt — was known as the singer-actress's "revenge dress" because she wore it to her first public appearance after announcing a month earlier that she and first husband Nick Lachey were going their separate ways.
When Jessica wore the dress in 2005, she went glam with her styling, sporting a sleek stick-straight 'do, oversized gold hoop earrings, velvety platform peep-toe pumps and nail polish in a deep berry shade. CZJ, meanwhile, went for a boho '70s-vibe, sporting oversized shades with colorful statement earrings, a chunky chain bracelet and black espadrilles.
So who wore it better?! Well, that depends entirely on whether you're a bohemian or a glam kinda girl!

Feeling like you have a case of deja vu? Calista Flockhart sported a very familiar skirt at the "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" premiere in Los Angeles on June 14: a golden Ralph Lauren piece that she previously wore 24 years ago! Yep, while Calista rocked it with an off-the-shoulder black top for husband Harrison Ford's movie debut, she previously donned the bold skirt with a white blouse at the 1999 Emmy Awards.

In May 2023, Natalie Portman dazzled at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of "May December" in a strapless Dior gown — a replica of the fashion house's famed Junon gown from 1949. (The original is safely on display at a museum.) Back in 2009, Miley Cyrus topped the best-dressed list in a Zuhair Murad gown inspired by the Junon dress, which was meant to emulate a peacock. Both looks feature an A-line silhouette and a skirt comprised of crystal-embellished petals with an ombre design.

It's hard to believe there's a look that can be worn to a Coachella party and on red carpets, but this red Schiaparelli jumpsuit is versatile! Model Karlie Kloss — the third star to rock it this year — turned it into incredibly chic maternity wear with the addition of gold accessories at the Future of Fashion Celebration and Honors in New York City in May 2023. The month before at a NYLON Coachella event, Bella Thorne rocked the look with a belt in a much different way than Elizabeth Debicki sported it at the Costume Designers Guild Awards in February.

At one of the biggest fashion events of the year — the 2023 Met Gala — two famous faces wore the same look in different colors! Olivia Wilde's Chloe getup was certainly unique, with a violin-shaped golden design in the center and cutouts at the sides, but later that night, Vogue China editor Margaret Zhang arrived in a strikingly similar look! She was also rocking Chloe — with the same violin detail — but in black!

This studded pantsuit from The Vampire's Wife really made waves with celebs. Two stars were seen rocking it the very same week! Both singer Miranda Lambert and actress Rachel Weisz sported the chic coordinates in New York City in April 2023… just four days apart! Rachel wore it first en route to an appearance on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" and Miranda rocked it four days later for a "Late Night With Seth Meyers" appearance.

Did the Dolce & Gabbana gown that Vanessa Bryant donned for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March 2023 look familiar? That's because it's been worn not once but two times before in the last year! "Ted Lasso" star Hannah Waddingham rocked it at the BRIT Awards in London in February 2022 and Sara Foster sported it at the Baby2Baby Gala in Los Angeles in November 2022.

We knew we'd seen this busy Brooke Shields ensemble before! The beauty donned this complicated Carolina Herrera number — complete with a half-skirt and pants combo — at the New York City screening of her documentary "Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields" in March 2023. And Sandra Bullock donned that same wild look at a screening of "The Lost City" in London a year prior in March 2022.

This silvery blue vintage Mugler gown on Lea Michele made a major statement at the 2023 TIME100 Gala in New York City in April 2023. The gown was also a hit more than 20 years prior when Catherine Zeta-Jones wore it — in a pale pink shade — to the Cannes Film Festival.

The gorgeous strapless gown that Georgia Fowler wore to the Tiffany & Co. NYC reopening event in April 2023 certainly looked familiar. That's because the slinky frock with a sweetheart neckline and a center cutout is the same Saint Laurent dress that Hailey Bieber wore in brown to the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles in October 2022.

That Saint Laurent cutout was a hit in other silhouettes with another pair of stars! Keri Russell opted for the dark brown version of this slinky long-sleeved number with a plunging neckline and diamond cutout at the premiere of "The Diplomat" in New York City in April 2023. Zoe Kravitz also liked the Saint Laurent dress and wore it to GQ's Men of the Year party in Los Angeles in November 2022.

Paris Jackson rocked a vintage Gucci gown at the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards in Los Angeles in March 2023, and eagle-eyed fans realized they'd seen it before: It's the same Gucci gown that Keira Knightley wore way back in 2006 to the "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" premiere in London.

Singer Phoebe Bridgers' black Rodarte gown look vaguely familiar when we saw it at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles in March 2023. That's because the halter-style frock with a floral applique at the neckline was worn in green by Jenny Slate at the Golden Globes in Los Angeles just two months earlier in January 2023.

Lucy Hale rocked this rich purple-and-black floral Versace dress, complete with thin straps and a thigh-high slit, to the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards in Los Angeles in March 2023. It was a vast improvement over Allison Williams' interpretation of the exact same look — oddly styled with trousers and a scarf — which she wore to a Versace fashion show in Los Angeles earlier the same month.

This slinky olive green Saint Laurent number has been a hit with celebs! Model Iris Law — Jude Law's daughter — sported the hooded gown at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Los Angeles in March 2023… just a few months after model Amber Valletta rocked it at WSJ. Magazine's Innovator Awards in New York City in November 2022.

Lori Harvey wowed in a slinky LaQuan Smith gown with a high neck and three cutouts at the Fifteen Percent Pledge Benefit Gala in New York City in February 2023. If you felt a bit of deja vu seeing this frock, it's because a year earlier, Julia Fox rocked it down the catwalk at LaQuan Smith's New York Fashion Week show in February 2022.

This emerald green patterned Etro design was worn by Nicole Kidman at the "Being the Ricardos" Sydney premiere back in December 2021. More recently, designer Dee Ocleppo — Tommy Hilfiger's wife — sported the exact same frock to the Accessories Council's ACE Awards in New York City in May 2023.
