ABC continues to make various changes, as its owner, Disney, continues to reduce their workforce. According to reports, former Disney and ABC employees have found a new home at competing network CBS.MORE: Follow Wonderwall on MSN for more top news

Ex-ABC staffers Matthew Mosk and Wendy Fisher found executive positions at CBS after leaving their previous positions.Most recently, Tom Cibrowski, who was an ABC veteran, became the president and executive editor of CBS news in late February.

An insider told Page Six CBS' Wendy McMahon will lean on Cibrowski to develop a morning show comparable to Good Morning America and Today."She's building out the team, and trying to stabilize the news division, so she can focus on her much bigger portfolio," the source noted.

As CBS prepares for their next phase, ABC is continuing to let people go.An executive told Page Six "just under 200 employees are impacted, representing less than 6 percent of the total ABC News Group and Disney Entertainment Networks workforce."

ABC isn't the only news platform being impacted by ratings and audience changes. MSNBC fired longtime anchor Joy Reid and canceled The Reid Out, as rumors spread that the show's ratings had dropped.Despite the hearsay, Reid appeared surprised by the news.

While on the "Win With Black Women" podcast, Reid was overwhelmed with emotions when chatting about losing her job."I'm not sorry. I am not sorry that I stood up for those things," Reid said, referring to the left-leaning topics she discussed on her show.
"But in the end, where I really land … is just gratitude. Just pure gratitude and gratitude. Not just because people would take the time to get on a call like this or to take care of me. But also that my show had value," she said.

The Reid Out was canceled, but it wasn't the only MSNBC time slot that experienced a decline in popularity.Nielsen ratings revealed Morning Joe lost 47 percent of its viewership after the election, as host Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski visited Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago to call a truce after criticizing him for years.

Despite fans' disappointment, Morning Joe was able to gain a 17 percent boost in spectators following the inauguration. Scarborough discussed his controversial meeting with Trump on-air."We were flooded with phone calls from people all day, literally around the world, very positive, very supportive, going 'I understand what you did,' etcetera," Scarborough said.
"All of us will do the best we can do and we're all working towards a better America," he added.
