Donald Trump is once again making changes to the world map: The president recently announced he will rename the Persian Gulf the Arabian Gulf as tensions between the U.S. and Iran continue to grow.

Google Maps and Apple Maps are still referring to the body of water as the "Persian Gulf." It's unclear if or when they'll institute the name change.
Donald Trump's administration previously took action against outlets that failed to change their style guide to reflect the Gulf of Mexico being renamed the Gulf of America.

On his inauguration day in January, Donald Trump celebrated his decision to change the "Gulf of Mexico" to the "Gulf of America."
"I took this action in part because, as stated in [an] order, 'The area formerly known as the Gulf of Mexico has long been an integral asset to our once burgeoning nation and has remained an indelible part of America,'" Trump said.

Last month, Karoline Leavitt said there would be "all h*** to pay" if Iran failed to agree to Donald Trump's demands over the country's nuclear program.
The president previously declared Iran would "suffer the consequences, and those consequences will be dire" if the country continues supporting the Houthi rebels in Yemen.
Those "dire consequences" apparently include changing the name of the body of water that borders the country…
