According to an insider, Meghan Markle was
paid seven figures to attend the runway show. "It wasn't an invite — it was a transaction," the source
claimed. "Balenciaga wanted global attention and Meghan delivered. Private jet, five-star suite, glam squad — all part of the agreement."

Balenciaga's new creative director,
Pierpaolo Piccioli, and Meghan Markle have developed a close relationship over the years. "The duchess has worn a number of designs by Pierpaolo. They have worked closely together, collaborating on design for key moments on the world stage," the Duchess of Sussex's spokesperson said
in a statement. "She has long admired his craftsmanship and modern elegance and tonight was no different. This evening reflects the culmination of many years of artistry and friendship, reflected in her support for his new creative chapter at Balenciaga."
