During a broadcast of MSNBC's The Last Word, Lawrence O'Donnell seemed to think Donald Trump is more spooked by the Jeffrey Epstein drama than he's letting on. "The other way Donald Trump communicates his fear is silence, which is also what he's been doing. And so, judging by his silence, Donald Trump is living in abject terror tonight of the Epstein files. Donald Trump spent the day in silence today about the Epstein files," he said. O'Donnell then highlighted how the Republican leader's "obsessive, relentless social media posts" are a perfect example of how "terrified" Trump really is of the situation. "The man who loves to have the cameras aimed at him while he plays with questions from reporters without ever actually answering them didn't dare allow reporters to get anywhere near him today," the anchor added.

Donald Trump went on a few nonsensical rants on social media as the headlines continue to focus on his alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Instead of addressing the matter, the right-winger went on a tirade about the name of the Washington Commanders football team. "My statement on the Washington Redskins has totally blown up, but only in a very positive way. I may put a restriction on them that if they don't change the name back to the original 'Washington Redskins' and get rid of the ridiculous moniker, 'Washington Commanders,' I won't make a deal for them to build a Stadium in Washington," he wrote. In another tactic to get people's attention off of him and his alleged ties to the late financier, Trump claimed former president Barack Obama committed "treason" and vowed to go after his political adversaries. "After what they did to me — right or wrong — it's time to go after people," the businessman raged during a meeting in the Oval Office.

Donald Trump has been on the defense since his Republican base criticized him and the Department of Justice for deciding to close the Jeffrey Epstein case. "My PAST supporters have bought into this 'bulls***,' hook, line and sinker. They haven't learned their lesson and probably never will, even after being conned by the lunatic left for 8 long years," he wrote on Truth Social. "Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats' work, don't even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don't want their support anymore!"
